== Mögliche Themen ==
Hier sind ein paar mögliche Themen und Beispiele zur Inspiration:

Ein Beitrag zum (Open Source) Diskurs

* [https://www.prototypefund.de/en/blog/security-vs-usability Security vs. Usability: A Fake Dilemma] - Über den scheinbaren Widerspruch von Security und Usability und warum das eine ohne das andere nicht geht
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/zentral-verwaltet-oder-dezentral-verteilt Zentral verwaltet oder dezentral verteilt?] - Über die Vor- und Nachteile von zentralen Systemen (wie z.B. Signal) und dezentrale (wie z.B. PGP)
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/digital-only Digital Only?] - Warum es auch ohne Smartphone und Digitalzwang gehen sollte
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/menschen-statt-maschinen-schulen Menschen statt Maschinen schulen] - Über den Versuch, KI erstellte Inhalte mit technischen Mitteln zu erkennen

Einblicke in eure Arbeit(sweise):

* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/ich-bin-ja-kein-entwickler Ich bin ja kein Entwickler]
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/zeigt-her-woran-ihr-arbeitet Zeigt her woran ihr arbeitet]

== Orga/Ablauf ==

# Wenn ihr Interesse habt, meldet euch zunächst beim Kommunikationsteam des PTF (bzw. direkt bei Paul und Patricia). Wenn ihr ein Thema oder eine grobe Richtung mitbringt ist das super, aber kein Muss. Wir unterstützen euch gerne bei der Themenfindung.
#* Achtung: In der Second Stage Förderung ist ein Artikel im Blog oder in der Knowledge Base '''verpflichtend'''. Wer schon davor einen Beitrag geschrieben hat, muss keinen zweiten schreiben - Vorarbeit lohnt sich also!
# Überlegt euch, wann ihr Zeit für einen Blogpost habt! Kurz vor dem Demo Day wird es oft stressig, weil ein Feature noch fertig werden soll – dann ist es doof, auch noch den Blogbeitrag tippen zu müssen. Nach der Förderzeit stehen aber oft wieder andere Dinge im Fokus, sodass ggf. bereits angefangen Artikel nie zu Ende geführt werden. Auch die ungefähre Timeline könnt ihr gerne mit Team Komms absprechen, wir empfehlen möglichst schon im Juli damit zu starten.
# Schreibt einen Entwurf in Deutsch oder Englisch und schickt ihn an Team Komms für Feedback.
# Team Komms schickt euch Verbesserungsvorschläge und/oder Grammatik/Rechtschreibhinweise. Diese Änderungen schlagen wir in einem Dokument in unserer Cloud vor: '''Ihr müsst sie dann annehmen oder (begründet) ablehnen'''.
# Anschließend wird der Text finalisiert, in die jeweils andere Sprache übersetzt (sodass er auf Deutsch und Englisch vorliegt) und nochmal von jemandem aus dem Team PTF gegengelesen. Danach wird der Text veröffentlicht und auf den PTF Social Media Kanälen beworben: Dabei freuen wir uns natürlich, wenn ihr den Text auch in euren Netzwerken streut und bewerbt.

== Struktur ==

* Deutsch und Englisch
** Ihr könnt euch aussuchen, auf welcher Sprache ihr den Blogbeitrag schreibt. Nach der Endredaktion übersetzt ihn dann Team Komms für euch.
* Titel
** Möglichst kurz und prägnant: max. 6 Wörter
** Nutzt interessante Adjektive und gerne auch negative Wörter: „Stoppt XY“, „Kein XYZ“
* Autor*in
** Name & Pronomen
** Ggf. Profilbild
** Kurzbio: 2-3 Sätze über euch und euer Projekt
** Ggf. Kontakt-E-Mail
** Ggf. Webseite

* Bild
** Jeder Blogbeitrag braucht ein (illustratives) Bild mit Alternativ-Text. Wenn ihr keins findet, ruhig kreativ werden – oder Team Komms nach Unterstützung fragen.
* Artikel:
** Zeichen: Richtwert sind ca. 5.000-10.000 Zeichen – aber in der Kürze liegt die Würze!
** Einleitung

** Fett, Kursiv, durchgestrichen
** Überschriften (1-4)
** Highlights
** Links im Text
** Exponierte Buttons (eigene Zeile)
** Aufzählungs/nummerierte Liste
** Zitate
** Bilder (einzelne oder mehrere vertikal scrollbare) im Text

'''<big>Für alles gilt: Wir freuen uns über eure Beiträge! Los gehts!</big>'''

= Writing an article for the blog =
Our blog is aimed at people who are generally interested in Open Source. This audience can also benefit you: We’re always happy when a project contributes a guest post. Articles can engage with a discourse, offer interesting insights into your work, or highlight another aspect of the Open Source world. However, specific how-tos, tips, tricks, collections of links, or tutorials are better suited to our Knowledge Base, to which we also welcome contributions.

== Possible Topics ==
Here are a few possible topics and examples to inspire you:

A contribution to the (Open Source) discourse

* [https://www.prototypefund.de/en/blog/security-vs-usability Security vs. Usability: A Fake Dilemma] - On the apparent contradiction between security and usability, and why one cannot exist without the other
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/en/blog/zentral-verwaltet-oder-dezentral-verteilt On the pros and cons of centralized systems (such as Signal) and decentralized ones (such as PGP)]
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/en/blog/digital-only Digital Only?] - Why it should be possible to get by without a smartphone and digital pressure
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/menschen-statt-maschinen-schulen Menschen statt Maschinen schulen] - On the attempt to detect AI-generated content using technical means

Insights into your work (and methods):

* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/ich-bin-ja-kein-entwickler Ich bin ja kein Entwickler]
* [https://www.prototypefund.de/blog/zeigt-her-woran-ihr-arbeitet Zeigt her, woran ihr arbeitet]

== Organization/Process ==

# If you're interested, please start by contacting the PTF communication team (specifically Paul and Patricia directly). It's great if you have a topic or a general idea in mind, but it's not required. We're happy to help you come up with one.
#* Note: In the Second Stage funding period, it is '''mandatory''' to write an article for the blog or the Knowledge Base. However, if you have already written a post, you don’t need to write a second one - so it pays to get a head start!
# Consider when you will have time to write a blog post! Things often get hectic around Demo Day because a certain feature still needs to be finished, so having to write a blog post on top of that can be annoying. After the funding period, however, the focus often shifts to other things, meaning articles that have been started may never be finished. You’re also welcome to discuss the approximate timeline with Team Communications. We recommend starting in July if possible, but later is also fine.
# Write a draft in German or English and send it to Team Communication for feedback.
# Team Komms will send you suggestions for improvements as well as notes on grammar and spelling. We’ll suggest these changes in a document in our cloud: '''You’ll then need to accept them or (with justification) reject them.'''
# The text will then be finalized and translated into the other language so that it is available in both German and English. It will then be proofread again by a member of the PTF team. After that, the text will be published and promoted on the PTF’s social media channels: We would, of course, be very happy if you would also share and promote the text in your own networks.

== Structure ==

* German and English
** You can choose the language in which to write your blog post. After final editing, Team Communication will translate it for you.
* Title
** As short and concise as possible: max. 6 words
** Use interesting adjectives and feel free to include negative words: “Stop XY,” “No XYZ”
* Author
** Name & Pronouns
** Profile picture (if applicable)
** Short bio: 2–3 sentences about yourself and your project
** Contact email (if applicable)
** Website (if applicable)

* Image
** Every blog post needs an (illustrative) image with alt text. If you can’t find one, feel free to get creative—or ask Team Communication for help.
* Article:
** Characters: A good guideline is approx. 5,000–10,000 characters—but keep it short and sweet!
** Introduction
*** The introduction will be written for you by Team Communication - you are, of course, welcome to make suggestions.
** Consider whether you want to use subheadings. They should encourage readers to read the next paragraph, so avoid purely descriptive phrases such as “Conclusion” or similar.

* Formatting options (these should only be used sparingly)
** Bold, italics, strikethrough
** Headings (1–4)
** Highlights
** Links in the text
** Prominent buttons (on their own line)
** Bulleted/numbered lists
** Quotes
** Images (single or multiple vertically scrollable) in the text

'''<big>But above all: We look forward to your contributions! Let's go!</big>'''
