# '''Procedure''': According to the Auxiliary Terms and Conditions for Funds Provided by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMFTR) to Commercial Companies for Research and Development Projects on a Cost Basis (NKBF 2017), grant recipients are obligated to publish the final report at the TIB (Technische Informationsbibliothek Hannover). The TIB serves as a repository for final reports of projects funded by public funds and makes them available to the interested public. The DLR-PT receives the reports from you in electronic form and, upon content approval, sends them in a consolidated form to the TIB on your behalf.
#FYI: Your final reports will be published on the website of the TiB (Technische Informationsbibliothek Hannover). You don't need to do anything; we will take care of that for you.
#'''Format''': The digital original version of the final report must be submitted to the DLR-PT (no scans). Documents should be submitted in a '''machine-readable and searchable data format'''. The electronic document should '''not be password-protected''', as this would make digital long-term archiving impossible. The '''target size of the file should be <1MB'''. To facilitate file identification, please include the '''correct funding code''' in both the report and the file name.
#*In accordance with the „Nebenbestimmungen für Zuwendungen auf Kostenbasis des BMFTR zur Projektförderung“ (in English: additional provisions for cost-based grants from the BMFTR for project funding, NKBF 2017), grant recipients are required to publish their final reports at the TIB (Technical Information Library Hannover). The TIB acts as a depository library for final reports on projects funded by taxpayers' money and makes them available to the interested public.
#'''Open Source Availability''': The final report must include a link to the code created during the funding period. The code must remain available under an open-source license even after the funding period! Also, remember to separately send the code link to your program managers. Any changes to the code link after the funding period should be communicated to the program managers as well.
#We can only accept your reports if the following guidelines are respected when submitting them:
#* Documents should be submitted in a '''machine-readable and searchable data format''' (no scans).
#* The electronic document should '''not be password-protected'''
#* The '''target size of the file should be <1MB.'''
#* To facilitate file identification, please include the '''correct funding code''' in both the report and the file name.
Please pay attention to these points, as we will not be able to accept your reports otherwise. You are welcome to use other reports as a guide.
