In English:
Your official funding time ends with the Demo Day, or, in case of a Second Stage with the closing event of the Second Stage - we had a great time with you! Here, we would like to give you a few last important pieces of information.
Mandatory to-dos
Publication of the source code
This can be done on Gitlab, Github or Bitbucket for example. Of course, the code must be published under a FOSS license. More information can be found here.
Please send us the link at the latest one month after the end of your funding period (December 31st / April 30th) so that we can also publish it in the project presentations on our website. If your project was granted a Second Stage, please send us also the link to the documentation for your project.
Important: The code must remain online after the funding period!
If you have a website or are planning a publication, please remember to use the BMFTR logo (and possibly also the Prototype Fund logo!) - both must be used unaltered. You will find the information about this in your grant notification (Zuwendungsbescheid). We would also be happy to publish the link to your website in the project presentation.
Final report
One month after the end of the funding period, the final report ("Schlussbericht") must be submitted to the Projektträger: on December 31st for projects without Second Stage and on April 30th for projects with Second Stage. You can refer to your application and your application for the Second Stage. The most important information about the final report, a sample outline and final reports from previous funding rounds can be found here in the wiki.

Evaluation
For the Prototype Fund's research, we examine current trends and developments in open source development in Germany. The focus is on the work of the grantees, and our accompanying research person regularly conducts interviews with some of you, some of them also after the funding period. Since the accompanying research is an essential part of the Prototype Fund, it is important that enough of you are willing to participate. Without accompanying research, there is no Prototype Fund!
Networking
We offer you several opportunities to stay in touch with the Prototype Fund and all projects so that you can continue to exchange ideas after the funding has ended.
We are always happy if you say hi on Zulip and tell us how you/your project are doing - or let us know if you would like to publish an article on prototypefund.de!
We share announcements and invitations to events via our mailing list. The link to subscribe to the mailing list can be found in the offboarding mail.
For additional information about the Prototype Fund, you can subscribe to our newsletter, listen to our podcast and follow us on Mastodon.
In any case: We're always happy to hear from you - feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or ideas, or if you just want to say hello again =)
