Revision as of 15:24, 5 March 2026

In English:

Your official funding time ends with the Demo Day, or, in case of a Second Stage with the closing event of the Second Stage - we had a great time with you! Here, we would like to give you a few last important pieces of information.

Mandatory to-dos

Publication of the source code

This can be done on Gitlab, Github or Bitbucket for example. Of course, the code must be published under a FOSS license. More information can be found here.

Please send us the link at the latest one month after the end of your funding period (December 31st / April 30th) so that we can also publish it in the project presentations on our website. If your project was granted a Second Stage, please send us also the link to the documentation for your project.

Important: The code must remain online after the funding period!

If you have a website or are planning a publication, please remember to use the BMFTR logo (and possibly also the Prototype Fund logo!) - both must be used unaltered. You will find the information about this in your funding notification ("Zuwendungsbescheid"). We would also be happy to publish the link to your website in the project presentation.

Final report

One month after the end of the funding period, the final report ("Schlussbericht") must be submitted to the Projektträger: on December 31st for projects without Second Stage and on April 30th for projects with Second Stage. You can refer to your application and your application for the Second Stage. The most important information about the final report, a sample outline and final reports from previous funding rounds can be found here in the wiki.

Proof of use

Along with the final report, you must submit the proof of use (the final payment request, "Verwendungsnachweis") to the Projektträger. More information on proof of use can be found here in the wiki.

Please note that, after submitting the proof of use and the final report, payment may take longer than for previous requests, as these documents are checked by the Projektträger before payment is made.
